Describe a time you successfully did something difficult.
1. What kinds of jobs require people to be confident?
In my view, every profession demands a certain level of confidence, but those involving customer interactions necessitate a higher degree of assurance. Take, for instance, a salesperson who lacks sufficient confidence; they would struggle to persuade customers about the merits of the product they are attempting to sell.
2. On what occasions should children be encouraged? How?
I believe it’s important to support children when they face hesitation in pursuing activities that are beneficial for them. However, this encouragement should be balanced and not make them feel pressured. For instance, if a child shows interest in creative pursuits like painting, parents can gently encourage them and even enhance their interest by taking them to a museum. It’s crucial to strike a balance between encouragement and allowing them to explore at their own pace.
3. How do you help children stay focused?
Numerous strategies exist to support children. Initially, creating a distraction-free environment, such as prohibiting the use of cellphones during study sessions, can be beneficial. Additionally, guiding them in meditation, where they concentrate on their breath or a singular sound, is another effective method to enhance their focus.
4. What challenges do young people face today?
In my opinion, young people encounter two primary challenges in contemporary times. The first pertains to mental health, with a growing awareness of the escalating instances of depression and suicide among the youth. The second challenge revolves around the constant rise in competition, be it in the realm of education or their professional pursuits.
